¡Hola! I am Julian Azeevo, a multidisciplinary creative professional specializing in branding and marketing communications. Visual design, art direction, photography, painting, and creative writing are my chosen weapons of creativity. My career has been distinguished by extensive expertise in visual identity development, print and digital design, and the pursuit of innovative solutions. My approach involves integrating art, design, and cutting-edge technologies with a humane holistic design framework, to produce work that is simultaneously timeless and transformative, propelling cultural advancement, or, may I dare to say, quantum jumping?
I graduated Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018 with a BFA in Advertising & Digital Design and a double minor in Creative Technology and Psychology. I also have an AAS in Communication Design from the same institution and another AAS in Drafting & Design from Bergen Community College. I dropped out of architecture school after being credited with 40+ credits from NJIT, discovering that it wasn't my true calling. I have a passion for the fine arts, design thinking, storytelling, creativity, and innovation. I always strive to deliver strong conceptual designs that communicate effectively and resonate with the audience. I have a keen eye for the small details and deliver powerful visual statements and systems that translate into business growth, brand recognition, more engagement, and leads.
As a personal ethos, I embrace the mantra "Love More—Fear Less," a philosophy so integral to my life that it is inked permanently on my arm. I have had the privilege of dividing my life equally between two distinct cultural landscapes: half of my life has been spent in Colombia, while the other half has been in the United States.
My bilingual and bicultural background has enabled me to immerse myself in various countries' intricacies of cultural, political, and societal dynamics, all while seeing how people live, deeply listening to their preferences and aversions, and the nuances of verbal and visual language and communication.
